Day 289
He Tells Of The Perfect Beauty by William Butler Yeats
O cloud-pale eyelids, dream-dimmed eyes,
The poets labouring all their days
To build a perfect beauty in rhyme
Are overthrown by a woman’s gaze
And by the unlabouring brood of the skies:
And therefore my heart will bow, when dew
Is dropping sleep, until God burn time,
Before the unlabouring stars and you.
The poets labouring all their days
To build a perfect beauty in rhyme
Are overthrown by a woman’s gaze
And by the unlabouring brood of the skies:
And therefore my heart will bow, when dew
Is dropping sleep, until God burn time,
Before the unlabouring stars and you.

My niece, the perfect beauty, the perfect bride. I am so in love with this first niece of mine. Her heart, her joy, the love she exudes. From the day she was born to the day she gave birth to her own perfect beauty, to this, her wedding day, she has grown ever more lovely. I love you, my beautiful Kimberly.
She is beautiful indeed!! 🙂
And congratulations on the happy day!!! We wish the bride and groom all the love and happiness!! ❤
When she met her husband she said she WAS NOT GOING TO GET SERIOUS with him! 6 months later and they are now married – doesn’t God have such a wonderful sense of humor? ♥
What a lovely bride. And what a lovely tribute to her.
I love her so very much, almost as though she were my own.
She is beautiful; and you’ve shot an amazing portrait of her.
Love how it works in black and white.
It didn’t work in color, to my eye, but I have given her this shot in color as well. To me, she goes far beyond the expression ‘beautiful’, but then I am somewhat prejudiced, I think!
What a wonderful gift you give–oh, yeah, the phabulous photos too, but the love of a dear aunt: Priceless!
Phabulous – now THAT is a great word!!! And the love I have for her? No words can convey the depth!
so sweet!
