Day 43 – I am inserting more photos than usual, however I mostly just liked these ones enough to post them anyway….
This was taken during the drive home. I looked out my window and was taken with the sun peeking over the dark clouds.
I kept complaining to Julie that the trees kept getting in the way of the beautiful clouds reflecting on the occasional ponds and small lakes. For once the trees cooperated!
This was actually not taken on day 43 – it was taken the night we got to Otsego Club. The lodges are all quite attractive. I kept telling Julie that this was our steeple. This particular lodge was built in 1951 at the resort.
I did get that photo of the chair lifts that I wanted! One the last day of the workshop, the sun was very cooperative and I was able to get out for this one.
These are the cable wheels on the chair lifts. I just liked them.
This was the view from the Duck Blind, the dining room we enjoyed our lunches in. In the mornings the fog was right up to the windows. Michigan just gets more and more beautiful the further north you go…
